Each year, students in grades three through eight and high school participate in the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) System. Our school will be administering CAASPP tests from April 29 to May25, 2019.
CAASPP is an annual academic testing system that provides information on student progress to ensure that all students leave high school ready for college and/or career. Starting in spring 2019, all CAASPP assessments will be online. CAASPP assessments include English–language arts/literacy (ELA) and mathematics for students in grade 11, the California Science Test (CAST) for students in grades 11 and 12. Students with significant cognitive disabilities take the California Alternate Assessment for ELA, math, and science. Eligible Spanish-speaking English learners enrolled in grade 11 also take the California Spanish Assessment (CSA).
